The Watchman's Diary

Instructions from Jeremiah 18:

O America, can the Lord not do with you as he did to Israel and as a potter does with his clay? Look as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in His hand, O America!

The instant the Lord speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it; if that nation against who he has spoken turns from its evil, He will relent of the disaster that He thought to bring upon it.

The Instant He speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, if it does evil in His sight so that it does not obey His voice, then He will relent concerning the good with which He said He would benefit it.

Now therefore, America, behold, the Lord is fashioning a disaster and devising a plan against you. Return now everyone from your evil ways and make your ways and your doings good.

Yet, you say, “That is hopeless! So we will walk according to our own plans, and we will every one obey the dictates of his evil hearts”!

Are you more pleasing, America, in the eyes of the Lord than was Israel at the time of her destruction? Think not that you have found a savior in your midst, for no flesh can save you from His hand. Rejoice not you who call on His name, for the Lord has spoken concerning His church. His letters to the churches has not expired and we must examine and rid ourselves of what is loveless. We must count the cost and remain steadfast in the face of persecution. We must no longer compromise; we must rid ourselves of corruption. We need to be injected with the life of Christ so that we can rise from death to life; We must be faithful to the Word of God and the Gospel of Christ; we can no longer afford to be lukewarm and put our trust in our riches.

God is no respecter of persons and no flesh can save us. Wake up!
